Postal worker facing jail term over satin lingerie, porn hoarding

A postal worker is reportedly facing a long jail term if he’s found guilty of hoarding packages of porn DVDs and female satin lingerie in his attic. This may not be a crime if seen this way but the wrongdoing was determined as these items were not his but from the mail packages which should go to the right recipients. Investigators from Royal Mailwere tipped off by a reliable source which was enough ground to raid the house of postal worker Alec Clark. They discovered in the suspect’s attic a long line of delivery receipts and old packages that should have been delivered to different recipients. The suspect admitted his crime. The 35-year old was quoted as saying that he did not intend to do something about those packages. The authorities discovered stacks of porn DVDs and female satin lingerie among the packages in the attic. According to reports, it took long to discover Clark’s modus operandi because what he does was open the packages, take a piece or two then deliver it to the recipients.

Paris lingerie store files suit against Saudi Princess due to unpaid merchandise

A luxury Paris lingerie store filed a lawsuit against a Saudi princess due to the latter’s inability to pay $126,000 in unpaid merchandise. This was revealed by the store’s lawyer late last week. To add more controversy in this issue, another store revealed that the princess also owed them money in the tune of 70,000 euros. According to reports, the Saudi princess is Maha al-Sudairi, wife of Saudi Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz. Paris lingerie shop Key Largo said that the merchandise were bought from the store more than a year ago yet the bill still remained unsettled. Store lawyer Jacky Benazerah said that they know of one Paris jewelry store which also filed a case against the princess. Benazerah said that the princess can still avail of diplomatic immunity to avoid court time since she’s married to a minister.   Sudairi is reportedly based on George V hotel, a luxury inn owned by her nephew Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. Media reports stated that she owes several million euros worth of merchandise to several luxury Paris stores although this has yet to be confirmed through court documents.

Burglar wearing thong swimwear during arrest faces new charges

The weird news just got weirder. Tennessee resident Larry Stephen Moore is now facing new charges following his arrest during the Memorial Day. It was reported at that time that Moore was arrested while hiding in an old farm house after the police scoured the areas of a home in Stone Ridge Drive which was reported to have been burglarized. When Moore was found at that time, the suspect attempted to escape by jumping through the farm house window but one of the policemen caught him outside. The arresting officers were surprised to see that the suspect was only wearing thong swimwear and a bra top. Already facing charges of burglary, theft and vandalism, the authorities discovered that the farm house does not belong to the suspect. This prompted them to charge Moore with felony theft, felony vandalism and aggravated burglary on top with the aforementioned charges. The suspect will now wait for a schedule of the hearing. There were no reports if he was able to get a lawyer at this time. As of now, he is still under police custody at the Anderson County jail.

Chinese city quashes Sex Theme Park plan

A Chinese city has decided not to purse with the controversial sex theme park after a flurry of mixed reactions surfaced globally. According to reports, the local officials of the Chinese city of Chongqing decided to cancel the plans in making the very first sex theme park in the country last weekend. The construction has already started at that time but will have to discontinue following this development. The park, tentatively named “Love Land,” garnered a lot of negative online comments after a China-based English newspaper published an article about the controversial park. The photos of the unfinished park spread online. One photo showed what seemed to be a lower half of a giant female statue that was supposed to be placed at the entrance of the park. Lu Xiaoqing, the part manager, said to the newspaper that aside from the G string swimwear clad woman, other naked human sculptures were supposed to be placed in several areas of the park. Marks & Spencer scraps excess price tag on big bras

Following a massive online campaign by busy women, clothing retailer Marks & Spencer has decided to scrap its plan to charge extra on bigger bras, including sports bras. This move was just announced last weekend. Marks & Spencer, Britain’s largest clothing retailer, apologized for the uproar this move caused and in order to make up for the disastrous publicity stunt, the store will slash off 25 percent on the pricetag of all bras. The online campaign started after the store announced that it will charge additional two pounds on double-D sized bras due to its claim that it costs more to make larger bras. However, campaign group Busts 4 Justice stepped in an said that women with larger breasts should not suffer financially just because they bought larger sports bras or regular bras for that matter. Marks & Spencer placed an ad on newspapers to formally announce the cancellation of their plan. The campaign group managed to gather large support in the online community with nearly 14,000 supporters joining its Facebook group. Marks & Spencer Executive Chairman Sir Stuart Rose admitted that the store’s move was wrong and failed to do the right thing for its loyal buyers.

Neon Lingerie: hot or not?

The 80s are hot. No doubt about it. But while we were making a fashion statement back then, this time we simple copy everything we like from those days. We saw the leggings coming back, shoulders patting are filling the streets. Coloured scarves in the hair. And skinny jeans we can handle. But what about the neon colours? I’ve seen neon pink leggings walking past me on the street. I never saw the person wearing it, they were so flashy. And the latest trend just scares me: you can now buy neon lingerie! It is very fun to wear as a fancy dress costume. But do we really want to see straps of neon bra’s, or neon thongs sticking out tight jeans? When dancing, I don’t want to see your neon undies glow in the dark! I’d like to make a statement right here:  ignore this trend. Keep wearing beautifull lingerie. Stick to a nice coloured thong and a good pair of knickers.  Don’t let your underwear shine through your clothes!
